What is the NAP program?

The Pennsylvania Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) offers a unique opportunity through its “Removal of Blight” initiative. This program provides corporate sponsors with 90% in state tax credits for contributions made to local nonprofits that work to enhance the quality of life in disadvantaged communities. Notably, the state increased the tax credit percentage from 75% to 90% on July 1, 2024, making this an even more valuable opportunity for sponsors.

How does it work?

A letter of sponsorship, printed on official company letterhead, must be submitted, clearly indicating the committed donation amount. The letter should also specify the exact site or project to which the donation will be directed. If the application is not accepted by NAP, there is no obligation to the proposed sponsor.

What is the percentage of PA state tax deduction?

This program provides corporate or individual sponsors with 90%.
